| About the Anson County Arts Council |
The Anson County Arts Council exists to enrich the cultural lives of the people in Anson County by nurturing and supporting excellence in the arts; by promoting, presenting and encouraging educational activities; and by increasing the communities' awareness and appreciation for the arts.
The Ansonia Theatre and the adjoining office building were generously donated by the previous owners of the property to the Anson County Arts Council, a local non-profit 501(c)3 organization. The building adjoining the Ansonia Theatre has been remodeled into a combination of office space and lobby gallery displaying the beautiful works of talented local visual artists. This spacious lobby gallery will also serve as additional lobby space for future performances and events at The Ansonia Theatre. |
