- 12/08/11 - 12/17/11 - The Anson Players presented six performances of director David Ariail's adaptation of "A Christmas Carol" to sold-out audiences.

- 11/11/11 - The Army Ground Forces Band's Jazz Guardians presented a free Veteran's Day concert in honor of Anson County's veterans.
|
- 11/03/11 - Anson New Technology High School, in conjunction with EbzB Productions, presented "Beyond the Color Purple: Bring Anson Back," an original play based on oral histories of Anson County residents.

- 9/12/11 - EbzB Productions presented WAR BONDS: The Songs and Letters of World War II to an audience of community members and students from New Tech High School. This multi-media living history cabaret included live music, personal letters from the front, and headline news of the period.

- 8/27/11 - Sandy B. and the All-Stars from Augusta, GA rocked the stage with Motown and beach music. Local band The Hidden Talents opened the show.

- 7/28/11 - The Uwharrie Players performed the musical numbers from their production of the Broadway musical All Shook Up.

| • 6/18/11 - Recording artist Tim Hildebrandt performed songs from his latest CD, Hombres, accompanied by percussionist Robert Hudson, guitarist Joanne Martin, and keyboardist Russell Rogers.

- 5/22/11 - The Ansonia's first concert featured local performers. The Anson Singers, a newly-formed community chorale co-sponsored by the Arts Council, performed for a full house, along with thirteen-year-old singer/songwriter Carson Hill, recording artist Matthew Gibson, and Roy Orbison tribute artist Tony King.

- 4/19/11 - Charlotte Children's Theatre's Tarradiddle Players presented "If You Take a Mouse to School" to young children and their parents at both morning and evening performances.

• 4/08/11 - Bright Star Touring Theatre presented Jack's Adventures in North Carolina History to an audience of middle school students and their parents.

| • 4/07/11 - Renowned performance poet Glenis Redmond presented a program of poetry, opening with poems created by local high school students in a workshop with Ms. Redmond earlier that day.
